Dear Matt, Karen, Tori, and Luke, We are praying for you right now. We are so thankful for you and the blessing that you have been to our family. May God continue to light the way and may Luke continue to impact many lives as he has impacted ours.

We are praying for Luke here in Louisville. What a special little boy! Praying for continued impact on all the lives he touches. He is a bright light - a walking miracle. It has been a real blessing to join in prayer. What a blessing he is! Love & Peace, Carree & Stephen (Friends of Steve & Hollie)
In the Spring of 1997, Luke was born eight weeks prematurely due to a very rare chromosome abnormality called Partial Trisomy Six. He has severe mental retardation and has very few expressive language skills. He is able to say a few words like "mama", "dada", and "oy yoy" (Tori), and use sign language to ask for some things. Thankfully, he seems to understand much more than he is able to communicate to us. At age three, Luke was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He was given three and 1/2 years of intense chemotherapy. We are elated that Luke remains leukemia-free and is considered a survivor. Luke loves his fuvvy, his drums, Elmo, watching golf on tv, music, bouncy balls, sweets and the beach.
